Kat Von D is an American tattoo artist, model, musician, entrepreneur, and television personality. She is best known for her work as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality television show LA Ink, which premiered in the United States on August 7, 2007, and ran for four seasons. She is also known for her vegan cosmetics line that launched in 2008.

We spoke to Kat about animal rights, activism and cruelty free makeup products at the 2017 Animal Rights Conference in Washington DC
